A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT & CEO
The 2024 Celebration of Philanthropy awardees exemplify our
community at its best. They are the heroes and heroines of
Anne Arundel County, leaders in philanthropy, and dedicated,
compassionate initiators.
Whether through their volunteer endeavors or financial
contributions, they demonstrate a deep commitment to the
future of our community and to the next generation. Their
selflessness and kindness strengthens our county for all
residents. We are deeply grateful to them, encouraged by their
stories, and marvel at the way they can—sometimes singlehandedly—bring hope to our community. There is much to learn
from their actions and as you read through their stories, it is our
hope that you, too, will be inspired.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, the communityminded individuals and businesses who make this remarkable
event possible. Their support allows us to properly honor the
award recipients. Additionally, I thank our staff, board of
trustees, and past recipients who participated on the award
selection committee. With so many outstanding nominations,
making decisions in each category was truly challenging.
As your Community Foundation, we are steadfast in our
mission to inspire and promote giving by connecting people
who care with causes that matter. And thanks to the generosity
of our donors, we remain hopeful about the future of Anne
Arundel County and look forward to a time when all residents
can enjoy healthy and fulfilling lives. Your support is crucial in
