Anne Arundel. She believes that her extensive community work has
given her more than she could have imagined in return.
“I’ve received so much more than I’ve given—the relationships I’ve built,
the memories I’ve made, the skills I’ve had the opportunity to hone,”
she said. “The time, effort, and energy I’ve put into these efforts have
all come back to me tenfold. The more I give back, the more I’ve found I
have to give.”
Ellen, a passionate advocate for children in foster care, received a
Corporate Commitment Award from Anne Arundel County CASA
for increasing her colleagues philanthropic giving by 900%. She was
recognized as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women by the Daily Record
and named Emerging Philanthropist of the Year at CFAAC’s 2020
Celebration of Philanthropy Awards Luncheon.
