Foundation. “Liff Walsh & Simmons and Eagle Title chooses to live up
to its core purpose of going above and beyond to serve wholeheartedly
local community organizations, no matter how large or small, while
simultaneously supporting state and national organizations that align
with their employees’ passions,” said Elizabeth.
Liff, Walsh & Simmons/Eagle Title has partnered with LHAAMC
Foundation in their Fish For A Cure (F4AC) fundraiser since 2018, when
Brad and Jay Walsh established F4AC team Reel Counsel to honor their
mother, Donna Liff Walsh, who ultimately lost her valiant fight against
breast cancer. To date, team Reel Counsel raised more than $377,000
for the Cancer Survivorship Program at LHAAMC’s Geaton and JoAnn
DeCesaris Cancer Institute.
“They bring their energy, hard work, and dedication to make the
F4AC fishing tournament, Shore Party, and Paul C. Dettor Captain’s
Challenge an unforgettable experience for all those who support cancer
care in our community,” said Elizabeth about the team.
The firm is also involved with the LHAAMC Foundation through board
leadership positions and giving societies, as loyal corporate sponsors of
the Denim & Diamonds gala, and through blood drives and pediatric
toy donations.
Many additional local nonprofits benefit from the firm’s time, treasure,
and talent. One of them is the Wellness House of Annapolis where Tom
Simmons currently serves as board president.
“His legal expertise and standing in the business community were
instrumental in guiding us towards gaining financial stability,
nurturing exceptional leadership, and building a strong team poised
for continued success,” said Mary J. Jermann, Executive Director,
Wellness House. “Liff, Walsh, Simmons and Eagle Title exemplifies the
true spirit of philanthropy, making a meaningful difference in our
community and inspiring others to join in creating a more equitable
and compassionate world.”
