With your help, CFAAC is able to accomplish so much for our
community, including:
Managing the investment of more than $32 million in total assets
intended for grantmaking.
Partnering with our donors to determine and address critical needs.
Distributing $5-$7 million in funding to nonprofits annually, with
the collective generosity of CFAAC donors.
Opening new funds, including 40 in 2023 and 32 new funds todate in 2024.
Strengthening nonprofits by providing funding through 334
grants (as of August 31, 2024) while stewarding our donor's wishes,
intentions, and investments.
Initiating change through confident leadership, meaningful
collaborations, and noteworthy generosity.
Supporting a thriving nonprofit sector working to advance equity
and inclusion in our county through educational programs.
Providing the tools and resources needed to help nonprofits establish
endowments and discretionary funds through the Community
Foundation to support their organizations in perpetuity.
Acting as a trusted advisor and navigator helping individuals,
families, businesses, nonprofits, and government partners make a
meaningful difference throughout the county.
While the Community Foundation serves as a critical link between
caring donors, dedicated nonprofits, and the county, we know that at
the heart of every thriving community are its people. As we continue
our mission to expand philanthropy and support Anne Arundel
County’s nonprofits and residents, we are grateful to have you with us,
celebrating the present good and looking forward to all that lies ahead.
