FUNDS AT CFAAC
Opening a fund at the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC) is the first step in
planting the seeds for a lasting legacy that nurtures the causes you care about. We are grateful to those
who have chosen us as their philanthropic partner. As dedicated financial stewards, we are committed to
helping donors maximize the impact of their giving.
We are honored to work with over 200 individuals, families, companies, and nonprofits who have
established funds at CFAAC. Their generosity is cultivating change and supporting communities
where everyone has the opportunity to grow and thrive. In 2024, we welcomed 40 new Donor Advised,
Corporate Advised, Designated, and Nonprofit Agency Funds. Thank you to all of our Fund Holders for
your trust and commitment to fostering a positive impact through CFAAC.

DONOR ADVISED FUNDS
Donor Advised Funds (DAF) provide a customized approach to philanthropic giving. With a minimum gift
of $10,000, donors can establish a fund in their name or a name that highlights the fund’s purpose. Donors
can contribute diverse assets including cash, appreciated stock, real estate, and/or other assets, and receive
the maximum allowable tax advantages. Opening or contributing to an existing DAF allows donors to make a
charitable contribution at any time and receive an immediate tax deduction.
