CORPORATE ADVISED FUNDS
Companies that encourage community involvement distinguish themselves from their competitors and see
many benefits, including loyal customers and happy employees. Corporate Advised Funds enable companies
to launch and grow a philanthropy program that aligns strategically with their financial and business goals,
maximize tax benefits, and engage their employees. CFAAC works with corporations to establish Corporate
Advised Funds, eliminating administrative burden so companies can focus on business while also allowing
owners, managers, and employees to have a voice in philanthropic decision-making.

CFAAC’s grant review committees granting to organizations that align with the fund’s purpose. Additionally,
these funds provide CFAAC with the flexibility to respond to emerging or immediate community needs.

“We feel putting our donations in a pool allows more dollars to be accumulated for any specific organization.
This is a great way to give back to the community. In particular, we want to support teachers to
benefit our future generations—to help students learn life skills, be independent, become
mentors, give back to their communities, and learn how to be honest and hard-working leaders.
We also support the Women and Girls Fund because we believe women and girls should
have knowledge of their rights and equality in education, business, mentorship, healthcare,
and their ability to impact the world—no matter their age or background.”
—Marie Clampet, donor, Grants 4 Teachers and Women and Girls Funds
