FIELD OF INTEREST FUNDS
The Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County proudly distributed nearly $600,000 in Field of
Interest and Discretionary Fund grants into our community last year, sowing the seeds of progress and
strengthening the roots that connect us all. Carefully vetted by our Grants Committee, these funds were
directed where they’re needed most, ensuring every dollar makes a meaningful and lasting impact.
By supporting CFAAC’s Field of Interest Funds, donors help local nonprofits grow and thrive, allowing
their important work to take root and flourish. Every contribution nurtures a stronger, more
connected Anne Arundel County.
Students at Mills-Parole Elementary School transformed a section of their courtyard into an expansive garden, home to a variety of plants
and creatures – a haven for nurturing by nature. This beautification project was made possible by CFAAC's Grants 4 Teachers fund.
FUND FOR ANNE ARUNDEL
The Fund for Anne Arundel (FFAA) channels
CFAAC’s grantmaking to where it’s needed most,
aligning with the findings of our Community
Needs Assessment Report. By supporting
nonprofits that address critical challenges for
children and families, FFAA strengthens local
resources and services. With more than $1.2
million granted since 2020, it continues to
improve lives across Anne Arundel County. Read
more about the FFAA on page 10.
