WOMEN & GIRLS FUND
By supporting nonprofits that empower women
and girls, this fund helps remove barriers, increase
economic security, and enhance safety and wellbeing. Addressing challenges such as poverty,
disability, and domestic violence, it has granted
nearly $90,000 to organizations that create
pathways for success and self-sufficiency.
CFAAC's staff presents a $5,000 grant to Historic London
Town and Gardens through our Environment Anne Arundel
Fund to support native plantings and bioswale enhancement.
ENVIRONMENT ANNE ARUNDEL FUND
From restoring shorelines to greening
neighborhoods, this fund invests in the health
of Anne Arundel County’s environment and
the Chesapeake Bay. By funding projects that
reduce stormwater runoff and engage students
in conservation efforts, it has distributed more
than $150,000 to protect local ecosystems for
future generations.
GRANTS 4 TEACHERS
This fund fuels innovation in the classroom by
supporting Anne Arundel County educators with
resources to bring creative learning ideas to life.
With nearly 250 projects funded, totaling more
than $115,000, it empowers teachers to enrich
student experiences and overcome traditional
funding limitations.
COMMUNITY CRISIS RESPONSE FUND
When crisis strikes, this fund is able to provide
immediate, flexible support to nonprofits assisting
those in need. Established following the 2018
Capital Gazette tragedy, it has since played a
crucial role during COVID-19, distributing nearly
300 rapid-response grants totaling over $2.7
million to support health, human services, and
education initiatives.
Members of CFAAC's Board and Staff present the Severn River
Association with a $5,000 grant through our Environment
Anne Arundel Fund to support their Watershed Educational
Programs, including the Floating and Forest Classrooms.
STRENGTHENING NONPROFITS FUND
A strong nonprofit sector builds a stronger
community. This fund provides essential training
and resources in fundraising, management, board
development, and marketing. Since 2016, it has
facilitated more than 85 programs, benefiting
over 5,000 nonprofit leaders and strengthening
their capacity to serve Anne Arundel County.

ARTS & CULTURE ANNE ARUNDEL FUND
Art has the power to inspire and connect. This
fund makes artistic and cultural experiences
accessible to all by providing grants that enable
participation in visual, performing, decorative,
and literary arts. By fostering creativity and
inclusivity, it strengthens the vibrancy of Anne
Arundel County’s cultural landscape.
