When the 2018 Capital
Gazette tragedy shook our
community, the Community
Crisis Response Fund was
born. Since then it has
provided immediate, flexible
support through COVID-19
and the Key Bridge disaster,
distributing rapid response
grants totaling more than
$3.19M since 2020. Read

The Strengthening
Nonprofits Fund delivers
essential training in
fundraising, management,
board development, and
marketing. More than 184
programs were held since
2012, rooted in a simple
belief: a strong nonprofit
sector builds a stronger

The Food Insecurity Fund supports nonprofits expanding
access to nutritious food, improving health, dignity, and
stability for families across the county.
FAMILY PROTECTION FUND
Our Hispanic population has grown 94% in 15 years,
yet services to this population have not kept pace.
Limited access to legal services and guidance has
heightened anxiety.*
Grants from the Family Protection Fund go to nonprofits
providing immigration-related legal services and crisis support
during some of life’s most frightening moments.
PERFORMING & VISUAL ARTS FUND
Across all ages in our county, loneliness and loss
of community are on the rise, taking a real toll on
mental health and wellbeing.*
The Performing & Visual Arts Fund supports arts organizations
delivering programs in music, dance, theater, and more, guided
by accessibility, inclusion, and cultural preservation.
