PROFESSIONAL ADVISOR RECOGNITION SOCIETY
Where expert guidance meets community purpose.
A legacy doesn’t write itself. Behind many of the
planned gifts and endowed funds that keep generosity
flowing through Anne Arundel County is a professional
advisor who helped a client see what was possible and
showed them how to make it happen.
The Professional Advisor Recognition Society (PARS)
honors those advisors. Introduced at the 2022
Celebration of Philanthropy, PARS recognizes attorneys,
wealth managers, and financial planners who go beyond
their professional obligations to actively champion
charitable giving across our community. Since its
founding, 13 distinguished advisors have been inducted.

In 2025, CFAAC welcomed one new member:
Jessica (Jesse) Walsh, Esq., Associate Attorney at Liff,
Walsh & Simmons. Jesse’s practice focuses on estate
planning, estate administration, and end-of-life issues:
the work that turns a client’s values into a lasting plan.
For many of her clients, charitable giving is part of that
plan. CFAAC makes it simpler to execute.
“I have many clients who want to include charitable
giving as part of their estate planning, but they aren’t
necessarily sure what organizations to select,” said
Jesse. “CFAAC is such a great resource. They have
all of the institutional knowledge of nonprofits and
community efforts, and can speak to the integrity of
each organization.”

The practical piece matters, too. Jesse can name a fund
in a client’s will or trust, and CFAAC handles the details
at no cost to the client, including any future changes if
priorities shift. The legacy simply flows where the client
intends it to go.

Beyond her legal practice, Jesse serves on the Ethics
Committee at Hospice of the Chesapeake, serves as
Vice President of the Anne Arundel Estate Planning
Council, and is part of the Flagship 2026 class of
Leadership Anne Arundel.
