WAYS TO GIVE
Every gi昀琀 creates a ripple,
so choose how yours will 昀氀ow.
Opening a fund at CFAAC offers all the
benefits of a private foundation — without
the administrative burden or high costs.
CFAAC staff will research each nonprofit
you wish to support to ensure it is in good
standing, then issue grants directly from
your fund.
CHARITABLE IRA ROLLOVERS &
QUALIFIED CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTIONS
If you are 70½ or older, each year you can
transfer up to $111,000 tax-free directly
from your IRA to a variety of qualified
funds at CFAAC. It is one of the most taxefficient ways to give, and a meaningful way
to put a lifetime of savings to work for the
communities you care about.

loved. CFAAC can notify your honoree and
provide you with a tax receipt.
