STRENGTHENING OUR NONPROFITS
Every grant represents a drop that sets ripples of positive
impact in motion. In 2025, we distributed 856 grants
totaling more than $9,700,000, directing resources to
nonprofits. Donor Advised Funds, Corporate Advised
Funds, Giving Circles, and focused Field of Interest grants
together reached every corner of the county, spanning
environmental conservation, food insecurity, teacher
innovation, family crisis support, and more.
COMMUNITY NEEDS ASSESSMENT
The Community Needs Assessment Report: Poverty
Amidst Plenty, VIII is the foundation beneath every CFAAC
funding decision. In 2025, we brought its findings to four
presentations across Anne Arundel County, connecting
community stakeholders with the author of the report.

COMMUNITY EDUCATION EVENTS
Through our Community Education Series, we brought
together experts, nonprofit leaders, donors, and community
members to explore the issues shaping Anne Arundel
County. We presented nine Community Impact
Speaker Series events, sparking conversations to
strengthen the network of people committed to this work.

CFAAC’s Board of Trustees and
staff made a personal gift to
support CFAAC. Their giving
reflects more than participation;
it reflects a deep belief in
CFAAC’s mission and the impact
we have on the community.
The individuals who lead and
carry out this work are not
only stewards of philanthropy,
but also active investors in it,
demonstrating their confidence in
CFAAC and its future.
More than 70% of all CFAAC
grantmaking flows directly back
to Anne Arundel County. The
remainder flows outward, carried
by our donors’ generosity to
support communities beyond
our borders.
